I think that the nightmare made you distressed enough for your physical body to display symptoms of it, including increased heart rate and the subsequent need for more breathing. |

Why is it that every time I realize I'm dreaming I'm left gasping for air? One night it just came to me that I was dreaming because I was in the middle of a zombie invasion. So basically I was almost being over run by zombies but then by realizing it was a dream, I wanted to do the impossible. I tried using my jedi powers to incinerate all the zombies but after I closed and opened my eyes I was left gasping for air. I felt like Darth Vader after Luke removed his mask. This always happens and it's annoying and makes it hard to focus on the lucid dream. |

Home is where your heart is.
Well that sucks. I guess my subconscious is telling me that I'm not ready for a zombie invasion. Oh well back to video games. |
