Hi, & Thanks for having me.

I would like to take this fine opportunity to introduce you all to me.

      Howdy.

I hope to enjoy my stay here. I am going overseas in a month, though, so I will become very active... and then disappear into the mists of the world, forget everything I've learnt, and return in two or three months asking questions I thought I already knew the answers to!

Actually, I have a tendency to join forums and not really have much interest in posting.

I hope it will be different here though, because I am sick of 'wanting' to lucid dream. Hopefully if I hang around here a bit, I will keep my motivation up, and hopefully learn a few tricks.

I've been 'wanting' to lucid dream for a few years, but I don't think I ever put any real honest effort into the whole endeavour. I've only been putting real effort into it for about a month now, and I think I am slowly getting there. Dream recall and reality checks, I find, are becoming quite tedious, though, so it's hard at times to remain motivated. I am remembering at least one dream a night now, often two, and sometimes three, though sometimes, every couple of nights, I just can't remember any.

I *think* I almost had a lucid dream the other day.

I performed a random reality check in my dream, said, "Hey, wow, I must be dreaming..." The next thing I recall is lying on my back, in my bed thinking to myself, "This isn't right... I'm awake now." Well, progress is progress, right?

      Anyway.

I hope to have fun here!

While you are here ask many questions. Devote time posting in different forums such as:

      Attaining Lucidity http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2
      Dream Control http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4

      We want to help you.

      Happy Lucid Dreaming,

I'm sure you will (this forum has a lot of fun and helpful members).

Just remember that the amount of effort you put in can determine the amount of results you'll get back.
