      What does it feel like?

What, exactly does it feel like (to you) when you:

      Successfully WILD?
      Become lucid in your dream?
      Are lucid?

I have had a few very strange experiences trying WILD, and some dreams where I am not sure I was lucid or not. I just want to see if other successful people have had similar experiences.

Also, Is it difficult to percieve things in your dream? All the times I think I was lucid I have had a very... awkward... sense of perception, and within a day after being completely certain I was lucid I start to doubt if I was... does this happen often?

      Thanks

WILD, it feels like strong vibrations going up and down your body from head to toe.. usually you can't move, but it doesn't matter, you begin to feel yourself sink into a dream (or sleep).

Getting lucid, its different for everyone.. for me it just happens randomly or I WILD into it.

Being lucid... this can vary, sometimes its just as realistic as being awake.. every sense you have in them.. you can feel the breeze, taste food, with added abilities like flying, which is fun.

I mean, what does it feel like when you become lucid, the "transition" between normal dream and lucid dream (or the transition in WILD).

Is it like a jolt of awareness, is it like wakin up in the morning? Something else?

I would go for the "jolt of awareness", although for me it's not a jarring experience, it's just a sudden realization.

I've only had 5 DILD's (dream induced lucids), no WILD's so far.

Becoming lucid feels to me like one minute I'm watching a TV show without paying attention and the next minute I'm *in* the TV show and living it with full awareness and feeling.

The transition is like a split second, one minute I'm dreaming but unconscious, just watching things happen in a disconnected way, and suddenly I'm like "what am I doing here? I'm dreaming!" And it's like being instantly awake, and aware except of course, I'm asleep and dreaming.

What I always find most interesting when I'm lucid is being aware that somewhere "out there" my body is asleep in my bed, but I feel like I'm really "here" in this world made out of my dream. When I become lucid, I feel like myself, in my body, it's everything around me that looks kinda wierd.

One thing though, when you first go lucid, you'll probably feel a major rush because it really is an amazing experience just to realize you're dreaming. So keep telling yourself to stay calm and ground yourself in your dream (rub your hands together or touch the ground, etc), or you might wake yourself up from getting too excited. Remember, you can always get as excited as you want to after the dream is over and you wake up.

Well, for me.. its not a jolt.. all of a sudden.. i'll look around and say to myself.. "cool, i'm in a dream" or something like that. Nightmares work damn good for inducing LDs.. just kick the monster's ass.. or turn it into something funny.
