      thank you, boxing dachshund!

well, first i want to appoligize for my poor tying. i have tendenitis in my left(dominant) hand so i am being sloppy typing with 1 hand.

a few weeks ago i started to make power points of my silly dreams to illustrate them to a couple of my friends. one of my friends told me about a time he had a lucid dream and briefly talked about how people can train themselves to know they are dreaming by using a trigger. i was fascinated and wanted to do some research into it, but didnt directly have the time.

in the mean time, i continued to make ppts which for me, seemed to help me recall dreams better than just writing down dreams which ive done in the past. since i started the power points, my dreams have been more and more vivid.

last night, i was having a pretty scary dream. eventually a dashchund that was standing on its hind legs and was wearing boxing gloves on his front paws showed up. he wanted to fight my dog, who i am very attached to and very protective of(i had been protecting him from ocean waves and alligators earlier in the dream). at that point i thought, "this is just rediculous i must be dreaming....OMG...I AM DREAMING...I CAN DO ANYTHING!! oh great, my trigger is a stupid boxing dashchund" so, i decided the first thing tyo do would be to get rid of the dog(i was still worried about my pup even though i knew it was a dream) and then i would try to fly around. well, i didnt know how to get him to leave so i thought if i turned him around, he might walk away. but when i tried, he bit at my hand and started barking. i got frustrated because i couldnt control what was happening and yelled "SHUT THE F--- UP!" only i yelled it in real life and woke myself(and my husband) up. haha!

so today i have been doing some research and think i am on the right track for more lucid dreams. i am really excited but know im going to have to be patient and work at it.

      just thought i would share

thank you, boxing dashchund, for being so rediculous!

That's funny. Did your husband think he was snoring, or something? It must have been a nasty surprise, for him.

he is a really heavy sleeper and didn't actually hear what I said, just knew that i shouted. he is used to me waking him up in the night. i have a lot of bad dreams and will wake up crying or just upset and he has to calm me down and remind me it was just a dream. he never remembers his dreams and sometimes doesn't even remember being woken up.

i was so freaking excited though, i made him stay up so i could tell him all about it. i wish i had gone back to sleep, i probably could have WILD(I think?) but i didn't even know what that was and was too excited to sleep.
