      Hey Everyone!

Hey guys, I'm new here and I was just wondering how to better become an active participant in my dreams. I can usually remember my dreams when I wake up, but i never actually remember being in them. Is that normal?

Once again hello to everyone here, it seems like a great community.

I honestly do not think that is normal. I am 99/100 times in my dreams with an occasional dream where I am completely absent. However, that does not mean you are not able to lucid dream still. If you want to have lucid dreams just read all of the tutorials here on the forums, keep a dream journal with all of your dreams in detail each night, and try to do reality checks as frequently as possible. Just curious, do you feel withdrawn from society? I feel like your waking reality is directly reflected in your dreams, so if you feel absent from reality and really just a viewer of life, then that might explain your dreams. Otherwise I have no idea why you wouldn't be present in your own dreams very often. Just curious. Sorry if that is a bit personal, but anyway, welcome to the forums and I wish you the best of luck in your pursuit of lucid dreaming!
