Thread: Can somebody explain this?

I've had this happen twice so far; it usually happens when I didn't get a lot of sleep on the previous night.

What happens is I randomly start viewing a dream, but only for a few seconds and suddenly I faint in my dream. Last night (the second time I had it), I heard a weird cackling laugh as I *fainted*. Once my eyes in my dream shut I think I went into sleep paralysis and suddenly hear these ?magnetic? waves. I think this is really light as I can wake up with willpower. Anyways, what can I do at this point in regard to lucid dreaming? If this ever happens again what could I do to take advantage of it?

I think i don't understand your post completely. i got a few questions to ask. to make 100% sure that Wat you are talking about is the same as my interpretation of Wat you posted

1. Are you awake and do you then see a dream in front of your closed eyes
2. Wat do you mean with take advantage of it

if you want to stay in that "dream" i got a few tips that work for the avarege lucid dreamer

the first technique
Start rubbing your hands against each other while observing you surrounding feel your feet touch the ground see the colors around you touch the ground in other words get involved with your surrounding.

the second technique
imagine that you are spinning your body around like you want to get that dizzy feeling while closing your eyes than think if you open them again i wil be at " " <- insert your destination here.
