False Lucid Dream? If not, then it's my first one!

Well, first of all, this is my first post here. So... uh... Hello Dreamviews.

Now, my question. Last night, I had what I think was a lucid dreaming, but it was hardly what I expected. I think I might have just imagined lucidity because I've been obsessing over it for the past few days (). Here's how the dream went, as far as I can remember (I think it's kinda long... ya don't have to read the whole thing):

My dream begins, and I'm in some house I've never been in. I think the dream actually began at some point before this, but I'm not sure. Something prompted me to do a reality test, so I looked at the clock on the microwave that was conveniently right next to me. I looked at it, then shut my eyes for a few seconds, then opened them, and the time was completely different. Now, here, it didn't happen as I thought it would. I was kinda excited about it, but acted more like it was perfectly normal, it seemed. Nonetheless, I decided to take the dream world for a test drive. I hopped up and down, kinda floated, then I tried to fly up, and I hit the ceiling. I tried to fly through it (heh), and succeeded partially, but then the scene completely changed. I showed up in a really big building, and I got kinda disoriented, so I looked at my hands. Things seemed a lot clearer once I did, but I looked at the ground and everything started shifting. But I looked up and one of my teachers was there, asking me where I wanted to go. I thought for a second, and said "Antarctica." And she gave me a ticket to Antarctica. I then noticed a whole lot of kids my age walking around me. I kept losing focus, so I tried verbalizing my intentions, like I'd read here. I told myself to increase lucidity and clarity, and it worked. I walked outside, and decided to test out the world further. I pointed at someone and said, "Shoot him into the air about 2000 feet," and he did just that. I started laughing hysterically, and then, at about that point, I woke up.

Now, the problem. It seems like I was perfectly lucid the whole time when you read it, but when I woke up, I felt as though I had never had free will or control. I'm not even sure if I really recognized that I was dreaming. Is it possible to have a false lucid dream?

Also, one thing I forgot. I couldn't make things appear in the world, like I've heard about some people doing. I also tried to "summon a dream guide," which was one of the suggested dream dealios, and that didn't work. Any advice?

Either way, it was a cool dream.

yes thats a Lucid dream defenitly, thats hopefuly coming from an experiensed dreamers mouth, I have had fake lucid dreams before, but I don't think that was one, a dream always seams sort of fake after awakening from it, The best advice for making things apear are these two methods.

      1) you could try my old fashion way of amagening something behind you and then turning around expecting it to be there

      2) you could try doplecating stuff intsed, that worked realy well in one LD I had

I wanna be the very best
      Like no one ever was
To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause
