make sure your last thought before falling asleep is all about getting lucid

      Hi everyone,

I've founded out that one of the main problem with practicing MILD is to keep your thought not wander as you are falling asleep. Dr. Laberge said in his book "Exploring the world of lucid dream" that your last thought before falling asleep must be your intention of being lucid. I offen have lucid dreams in the nights that I concentrate about my attention and my last thought is to remind me continuosly that I will remember I am dreaming.

This is not new information but I still post it here because I think it's the most important key to succesfull MILD and may help someone. So, if you think of another factor more important than this one, plz tell me.

I have noticed it help to be in the mindset of "I will dream / remember them" and not so much "Let me think of cool things in hopes I dream of them"

yeah, you are right, the more strong and short affirmations are, the more likely we have lucid dream, I think so.

      Hey..
      Totally agreed with WhiteMagician...
Here's an example supporting my answer...
Whenever,I'd fall asleep..I'd listen to music...Now I'm doing it again, and had 2 Lucid Dreams thanks to that CD Player..
      The first one:
It was playing a song, when I realized I've never heard it even though it was on my CD which I knew well...So I clicked "Next" and there was another song which I never heard before..
      The Second one:
There was a song I hate playing on the CD Player(set on radio)so I changed the radio station and there was the same song but this time,it was a female version singing it...I thought to myself
"Are you kidding me?Is this a dream or something?" It was...
      -Sam
The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..
