Thread: recurring dream

Hi. I keep having this recurring dream.
It is about this friend I had for a long time (since I was a kid of three four, `till I was 17). in my dreams we are friends again and she is a nice person, though is real life she`s about as horrible a person as they come. we had a falling-out years ago and I haven`t even seen her in a couple of years or so. I have no wish to be friends again; I wouldn`t even want to say a word to her. which beggs the question: what is up with these dreams of mine? I believe they come from my subconscious, but I can`t come up with a reasonable explanation. anyone have any ideas?

Just because you don't want to be friends with her again doesn't mean you don't think about her from time to time. My guess? She was in your life so often you probably have many memories of you and her together. Probably some good ones right? Maybe your simply just recalling them in a dream. It doesn't necessarily HAVE to mean anything.

Dreams don't always mean anything, but if I were to make a guess, I'd say that there is something about the way you two came apart that is troubling you.
