Question Question about reality checks; dreaming in third person

I've been doing reality checks throughout the day for around 10 days now, and it's becoming fairly habitual. However, I've noticed that often in my dreams, I see myself from a third-person perspective, or I'm not there at all. I'm concerned that this will make reality checking difficult and ineffective, since I don't usually have a physical body or senses to check with. Should I continue with physical RCs (I inspect my hands and the tattoo on it) or abandon them entirely in favor of strictly thought-based RCs?

I find that doing RC's when walking threw a door or looking at my hands doesn't work at all for me. Never did. I go threw my DJ and look for my Dream Signs and highlight them all (As I'm sure everybody ells does) but I work my RC's around them.

Like, my car breaks down a lot in my dreams ... so, when ever I see my car or am in it, I do a RC. I also have sex a lot in my dreams so when ever I'm flirting with a girl or kissing or about to have sex or have sex ) I do a RC. This habit transfers over almost seamlessly to my dreams. Some people might get ridiculous and ask "what if I dream that I'm on the moon a lot, how can I do an RC on the moon when I'm awake?" to them I say .... shut up! lol, do it when you look at the moon or be a little creative. Sorry but my neighbor is right next to me and he just said that.. lol

If I had dreams in the third person I would probably do RC's when ever I looked in the mirror or saw my reflection, or even a picture of myself. Basically anything regarding me. Like, if somebody called my name even.

Also, you said you don't usually have a physical body. Maybe I would take time to look out of a window and observe whats going on around me or go check out a baseball/soccer/football game in the park and do RC's while just looking around. I would probably even go as far as wearing earplugs. Some might say "what good does that do" but hey man, all this stuff works for me and it might work for you too.

OK, hope I helped. If you want to ask me anything feel free to pm me.

I am accustomed to sleep and in my dreams to imagine the same things that lunatics imagine when awake.

You can keep doing both, the more the better. I however do only use thought based ones, but everyone is different.
