      funkier than deltron 3030

whats up all. sooo i had my first lucid about a week ago, which was maybe only a week or two after joining dreamviews. i had quite a bit of success right off the bat, and it was nice, and i'm not trying for useless complaining, but im falling into quite a rut. i'm trying to keep things consistant (ie music, bedtime, melatonin, etc) but i cant seem to remember any of my dreams these last coupla of nights. i keep my dream journel right next to my bed and am ready to pounce on it everytime i wake up, but im hitting a brickwall every morning. i wish i could be more clear and specific about this rut ive fallen into, thus i could get good feedback, but its nothing more than a rut that ive found myself in, and theres no better place than a dreamviews forum thread to rant on about it lol. who knows, maybe the best cure is some positive feedback

Don't worry, don't expect to be having lucid dreams every night, unless you are a natural or a very experienced dreamer it simply wont happen. I noticed you take Melatonin, I recently quit taking it because I noticed I stopped remembering dreams period. Before I started taking it I was remembering two-three dreams a night, now that I quit I am remembering two-three dreams again. I don't know if this could be effecting you as well, all of our bodies are different but I would recommend not taking it for a night or two. Keep up the journal, remember to perform reality checks daily, and just keep practicing. I have been practicing for about two months now and have only had four-five lucid dreams, you must stay patient and most importantly don't give up.

Making sure you get enough sleep?
Whenever I'm having a bad run of nights with no dreams logged it's simply because I haven't been sleeping enough.
