Really Dumb Question well, maybe two

I'm a newbie, and this is the place for dumb questions, so here go's.

How do you remove a thread when your question is answered? I feel stupid saying it but, these things are new to me. I've never came accross a forum or chatroom that I cared to part of until now, so there is much I don't know.

Something else I've wondered. I've noticed when I write in my journal that I often remember dreams from years ago, some I never even wrote down. They just flash back to me and I think to myself O Wow! I remember that one! I haven't thought about that one in years! Is that weird or what. Anyone else do this?

Yes, the same thing happens to me as well...and when it does I write it down in a seperate area of my Journal. (sort of like in an archive section)

Go to the edit thread button above your post, & select 'delete your post'. It will say,"Are you sure?" click submit. Also, if you don't want anyone to post on your thread anymore, lock the post, & they won't be able to anymore.
About the dream thing, I have gone through dry spells, & haven't been able to recall my LDs for a week. It fades after a while. That has happened to me hundreds of times, especially when I was a child.

Not sure why you'd want to. IMO, it's best to leave it so that other people can benefit from the knowledge shared.

Thanks for the info, I just didn't want to clog the forum with all my questions, I have so many.

It's great to have found a place to talk to people with similar interests. Useually I just get odd stares when I try to bring up something interesting.

You can only delete your thread if there were no posts in it by other people or if you have moderating powers (me). Ask questions just use the search button where required, a forum's heart are the archives and history. so deleting threads undermines that, so it's best not to. Yeah so follow that advice and it'll be fine

I'm sure you have heard it before. But no question is a dumb question.

Chances are that many other members have these same questions.

      By the way.........WELCOME

What about a variation on the stupid questions idea?

There are no stupid questions, only stupid people who ask questions.
