      Hey (Introduction)

      Hey DV!

      I'm CasperKid!

      *Hand shake*

So let's get down to who I am and what I'm up to.

I'm 19, in my first semester of college, and have been documenting my dreams for about 8 or 9 months now.

At first, while I was still in high school, I had this little notepad that I kept at the side of my bed, in which I would scribble all my dreams every morning after I woke up. Soon, I started losing focus and steam, and the whole writing with pen and paper activity got outdated. In the summer, I started using my new MacBook Pro that I got for my birthday/graduation, and have recorded a bunch on my blog at blogspot.

But, now, I have decided to get onto a more dedicated and focused website that will support me in my quest to attain lucidity consistently! After experiencing my first LD this Sunday (4 days ago!!), I instantly became addicted. I am so hooked and on board that I am willing to keep track of my dreams daily on here within a dream journal and attempt techniques every night.

I'm currently following edge0125's 90 day WILD project, and have found that my "event alarm" on my iPhone works so perfectly for WILDing. Basically, what I do is put an event in my phone for 1 hour after when I want my alarm to ring, while putting a notification for the event 1 hour before. This way, the notification in the form of a 3 second little "dee do dee do, dee do dee do" happens and then my phone goes silent, which is the perfect buzzer to wake you up without you having to move to shut off the noise! Awesome!

With this I'm attempting to gain lucidity nightly to explore my subconscious and really get deep into how I view the world/people around me. I will keep my efforts posted on the appropriate forums and especially in my dream journal. I'm not sure at this point if I want to transfer my posts from my other blog, but that decision will be made in due time.

I want to meet as many other people on this website if I can, so feel free to PM me and chat.

I play electric guitar (I just bought a Fender Strat).
I meditate and practice mindfulness daily.
I read the bible everyday, but I'm not a Christian. I'm a mixture of Buddhist and "Spiritual," but I don't practice anything formally.
My major in college is Philosophy, and I have a minor in Critical Approaches to Leadership.
I'm straight and my current goal is to have sex with a girl in an LD (tips would be nice)
      I snowboard weekly.

Looking forward to what this forum will offer me!

      Peace.
      ~Casper

      Hey CasperKid

Welcome aboard! Those alarms are extremely useful... I don't WILD very well, but I use an alarm for recall that I have set up to ring every 90 minutes. It's pretty awesome.

If I may, we have an extremely useful Wiki at this link that houses all sorts of tutorials, manuals, a dictionary, etc that'll get you on the right path to consistent lucid dreaming
