      Dream Recall - Few ideas

      Hello,
I'm working on inducing LDs (DILD and WILD) for the past few weeks. Dream Journal and Dream Recall are important for LD. I noticed that the following steps helping a lot to recall some dreams lately and would like to share if you are interested.

Wake up an hour or 30 mins early than usual. Once you wake up, stay in your bed and try to recall your dreams. If it's blank (most of the times it is to me), try the following.

      1. Say your friends, relatives, colleagues and family member's names. Just say it in your mind, just the names. First try with the people who you see mostly in your dreams. If saying names doesn't bring any dream back, try saying places and things like office, home, park, mall, gas station, car, grocery, water, lake, river. When it's really dry and dead blank, I tried this and worked well consistently.
You call also take few mins and put all these names, dream signs and dream schemes in your DJ and read the first thing in the morning, just spend like 10 mins.

      2. If the first step doesn’t help, read your DJ for few mins first thing you wake up. Just your past dreams, signs and schemes which might help recall some dreams.

I have been struggling a lot with dream recalls lately and these steps help bring some back. I wouldn’t say great recall but some. I hope this helps some of you as well.

This is great, thanks! I'll try the first one. I'm desperate for better recall.

You can also try mantra meditation before you go to bed every night. Try doing this, when getting ready to go to bed, about 10 minutes before bed. Sit in a relaxed position, get relaxed and start saying in a soft voice the mantra, "Tonight I will remember my dreams" or any other mantra along those lines.

      It can really help.
