      Hi, all. Greetings!

Well, my name's Johnathan. Im 14 years old, and a freshman student.

About a year ago, I was interested in Lucid Dreaming after watching Avatar (Yeah, not the greatest way to become intrigued to something.), and did a bit of research. Of course, the casual 13 year old, I rushed ahead of myself, failed, and gave up.

After looking back at my mistakes, I realize I have to learn, read tutorials, and remember my dreams! xD.

Im still very new, and no veteran. I tried looking around for a "where-to-start" guide, but their isn't one... If anyone could link to one that would be awsome.

Im fairly good at remembering dreams. I have never obtained a lucid dream, but have always wanted to! I hope one day I can .

I plan to stay, and check back very often on how to improve my ways and learn how to dream like you guys xD.

So, dropping by to say Hello. .

Hello, in terms of gaining a lucid dream the two most critical factors for me would be regular reaility checks and every now and becoming more aware of my surroundings (i.e. rather than hmmm I wonder what im going to do today [introverted] what can I hear what does this taste like [extroverted]) That and telling myself before I go to bed what I intend to do when not if I have a lucid dream that is also a critical factor its not possible that you will become lucid but certain.
As for a where to start guide im not really aware of one as such but im pretty sure if you click "home" theres a menu that explains everything.
      Good luck
p.s. nice picture of Emile he was my favourite character from Halo Reach

I think the best place to start is working on dream recall / starting a dream journal. Make some notes on recurring characters, locations, and events and that will help you form personal reality checks that you can use to actually trigger an LD.
