Has anyone ever had a DELD before?

I meant to type DEID in the title.

So I attempted to use the DEILD technique, but instead I ended up doing a DEID (notice that the L for lucid is missing.)

For those of you that don't know about the DEILD technique read this.http://http://www.dreamviews.com/wiki/DEILD-Tutorial

I messed up pretty bad. When I woke up I did what I was suppose to. Keep my eyes closed and not move. It worked and I entered another dream. The only problem was I didn't become lucid!

Even though I went into a dream knowing I was going to enter a dream, I still didn't become lucid. Has this happened to anyone else before?

      Typos FTW!!

Yeah, this happened to me just the other night, although my personal technique is slightly different from DEILD. Not enough for me to type up why, though! Anyway, here's what happened.

I wake up. It's about 4:30 in the morning. I decide to use my technique and have a LD (not sure if that's the whole thing,t hough - forgot most of it), so I close my eyes while trying to stay conscious. I hit a dream, but I know it's very unstable at this point. I sit and wait for about 20 seconds then start looking around. I see that I'm in a house with wooden stairs and floor. I lose lucidity at this point as well as any memory of the dream.

Well, there you have it. Just be careful next time.
