Cool Hello DV! This is my first LD - How do I go further?

      Hello DV!

I had my first lucid dream last night and I have to say that it was pretty amazing. Words can't really describe it... it's like discovering a whole new world and it felt like I was told that Hogwarts exists. People who refuse to LD is missing out.

The moment I knew it was finally gonna happen was when my bed started shaking as if it was an earthquake. The next thing I knew, I was in my own bed in the same position and staring at the same side. I thought waking up back in my own house was pretty boring so I tried to alter my scene but I couldn't no matter how I tried. I also tried to fly by jumping on my bed, or off the chair. It was extremely vivid but when I tried to leave the house, I lost control of my dream (could feel my bed and hear the mp3). The next thing I knew, I was back in my house on my mac. But when again, I realised I was dreaming, I lost control and woke up.

How can I alter my dream?
Why do I lose control of my dream when I want to leave the house?
And if I jumped off my building, what would happen?

Congrats on your first lucid! Once you have a few more and get used to the feeling, control will come. If you can consciously move yourself around, you're going in the right direction. Just take it easy in the next one you have, don't overwhelm yourself right away! But hell, if I lived in a tall building, jumping off would be first on my list! Go for it!
