      Hi- I'm new here!

      Hi Everyone!

I'm new here obviously. I come here looking for answers.
As I'm sure pretty much all of you have seen the film, Inception. That is what sparked my interest in dreams.

My goal is to be able to train my mind to dreaming exactly what I want, and having the ability to vividly remember it. Any good tips on where I can start reading up to get started?

      Thanks all!

Hi SilverG and welcome to DV! That movie is totally awesome and the idea of dreaming whatever you want isn't impossible. When you do, you "induce" a dream. You think about a particular scene with great detail. Do this alot with meditation and intentions, and you'll most likely end up at just that scene. It's a bit trickier than it sounds though, but it is possible with dedication.

There's a Wiki you should take a look into, it contains all information you need Wiki - Dreamviews Lucid Dreaming Community & Resource

Incase you have questions after the wiki, feel free to post them here or in a PM to me or any of the other Dream Guides. Keep on dreaming!

PS. The inducing part is a MILD technique, you should be able to read about it there.
