How to make a Favourite Dream recurr.

Can one "will" a dream to recurr. I am am not talking about lucid dreams as such but a "normal" one. There is one person I would wish to meet again in this dream. Are these "people"we see in dreams just mere figments or can they be recalled. After all, it's my dream, or is it. It would be nice however to eventually become lucid in this dream and to see the results. Also it "freaks" me out a little to think I may be a character in "their dream". Could I use some kind of self hypnosis technique to make this happen. Also it does seem that dreams have the "upperhand" when it comes to total control. It makes me wonder if I did "force" the eventuality of this dream would I be producing negative results.

C'mon all you whizz kids. Give a "newbie" a helping hand, please. What worries me however if this "person" is a facet of my own imagination or personality, if I interfere, will this result in negative effects. Makes me wonder if I could upset the Balance of Things.

Unless of course, someone else who knows decides to answer this.

Or maybe this isn't THAT active forum that people would answer to any question in a couple of hours. You have to be patient and you will surely get your answer in couple of days.

Anyway, I think self suggestion or self hypnosis could work. Try to imagine what you want from your dream when you go to sleep. I can't explain it very well but hopefully someone will come and do it. Anyway, remember that the only thing you mess with when you dream is your own mind. I don't think there will be any side effects if you try to decide your dreams with self suggestion/hypnosis.
Don't think about those damn kangaroos.
