      Hey! About me!

I've just started to get into LD and I'm having trouble so far....the night before I started I had a dream that I'm still almost able to recall detail for detail, but since then I can't remember a thing! Except for last night, some hazy images.....something that looks like a game board...yeah. Also, I'm into Ki manipulation....well, I'm not very good at that either, I also want to use LD to help me with this, and also to relieve the stress of being in the military! lol. Well, that's all I can think of for now....once the 2 week point rolls around I'm gonna do the adoption, though I wish I could do it now as I need the help...lol.
If anyone can help me I'm willing to listen

What you probably should do is set an alarm for an early time in the morning that you know has a good chance of waking u up in a dream. U should have a notepad & pen by ur bed, so when the alarm goes off u can start writing what u were dreaming when the alarm went off, or what u were dreaming shortly before. There's just an idea for dream recall, try using it, i know its worked for a lot of people in my old pysch. class.

Qi, what really messes up my recall is being jarred awake by an alarm or some other sound and /or if I immediately change position or start thinking about my day. Try
telling your subconscioius to wake you up after each dream or to wake you up about 15 minutes before your alarm goes off (I know it sounds stupid but you'd be surprised how accomodating your subconscious can be).

Once you wake up.. do not move! Think about the dream that you just had.. If nothing comes to mind.. try to remember if there was a specific person, place, thing, food or emotion in the dream. Once you come up with even a tidbit of the dream.. try to work your way backward.. how did you get there.. who was with you, etc.

My recall is pretty shakey right now but I've got alot of stuff going on in my life (stress affects my dream recall and also my ability to LD). Once life settles down I'm hoping to get back on track!

Welcome to Dream Views and be safe!
