      remembered deams

      Hey guys!java script:emoticon('')
I'm completely new to Lucid Dreaming and have never had one that I can remember. I just wanted to ask, why it is that I used to remember more dreams from my early childhood than I do now?

I can still vividly remember the overwhelming fear of being chased by a huge scorpion down my old neighborhood street (when I was about five years old). Or the pure bewilderment of standing in one of my old friend's houses, and watching millions of bouncy balls roar down his stairs towards us (when I was about seven). Those were only two of my many childhood dreams that I still clearly remember.

Since then I've only remembered dreams few and far between. Altough last night I vaguely remember something about being in what seemed to be a super mario 64-type level, and jumping around trying to get a gold star. I wonder if it's just me, or if most people remember their childhood dreams as much as I do.

I used to be a huge lucid dreamer until a couple years ago. But I can remember all my childhood dreams and I remember my nightmares a little too well for my liking.

Yeah I tend to remember nightmares a lot better than other dreams.
