Thread: Just introducing myself.

Hello, I'm new to this site, just joined today. I have been studying about the brain/mind and dreaming states for a long time now. I plan on doing it forever, but I have only had 2 lucid dreams in my life. I feel that I have had an Astral projection, but I don't really know for sure. I like the site and how it's all about dreaming, you can't find many people in chat rooms that are interested in this, because there to busy with drama. So I plan on visiting this site much more, and posting threads and replying to threads. So please welcome me. I don't want to make this to long so bye!

Hi, welcome. Yes, everyone here is interested in the topic of dreaming, and it's true that you'll rarely find people in daily life who care much about the subject. It's great that you've been studying dream states. That's an area I've been meaning to learn more about. That knowledge will be useful in helping you understand things like why it's advised to wake up after 6 hours or so while attempting the Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) technique, and even if you haven't intentionally lucid dreamed before, you'll be ahead of most new people in your understanding.
