      Hello...

Well hello there, Im new here. Im also new to dreaming.
Im a musician and I paint. I like surrealistic art, Salvador Dali is my favourite artist, at least for now.
The Doors, Bob Dylan, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, REM and Queens of the stone age are a big part of the music I listen to.

I found about dreaming on tuesday. And now that I've read a lot/some on dreaming and my mind and conciousness and whatnot, I feel different. I think more clearly. I think more. I feel smarter. I feel englightened.
I guess I've been depressed up until now, maybe I still am.
I've been rejected in possibly every possible way. Or maybe not, but it's just that it seems nobody understands me nor wants to understand.
So now I've began to get to know My Self.

I hope I'm welcome at least somewhere. May this be the place?

      Hey, welcome to DV.

Your name kind of caught my eye, I'm a huge QOTSA fan!

I saw them live in Toronto about 3 weeks ago, they were incredible. My 3rd favorite band after the White Stripes and the Black Keys.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the forum, there's a lot of great people here.

Welcome to our friendly little forum. To tell you the truth, I usually play music from a CD-RW whenever I am on here (oftentimes, VG music!)

      Thanks all.

      Edit:
Whoever had that thread about computer art. Yeah they're good but I'm not really into that kind of thing. I don't really like computer art. Even though the picture I have in my avatar is made on a computer (original one is far more bigger) and I have a few others. And i do make more, but all/most of them are just ideas I've gotten on the computer for a painting. And I've just done it on the computer in case I'd forget it while going to my room and getting all the required equipment...

Yeah that was me. I miss good old paint and canvas and pencils and papter...but I'm in school for computer design so I guess it kinda goes with the territory. Anyway, I just thought you might like the "surreality" of some of my 3d art. That's all.

I've gotten a lot better on my dream recall.. my dream journal has 11 medium size dreams/parts of dream and 3 smaller ones
Seeing I've been doing this for umm.24 days. is that good?
Im not sure if it was just my imagination (surprise surprise) but I think I recently had my first lucid one. It was just really really quick, I think I was in the middle of some dream that I dont remember or something cause it was just so quick... I just thought, 'Hey, I'll just pinch my nose and try to breathe.'' The feeling of inhaling that way. Oh my, it was just so amazing.
I really hope it wasn't my imagination...The reason I'm not sure is cause, well. Usually when I recall a dream I go all ''Hey! That was a dream'' but this one didn't feel like that...
