      New Lucid Dreamer

Well I guess I'm the new guy here and well I have millions of questions to ask all of you. I have just learned about this whole thing only 3 days ago and I'm following all the advice this page gives, I'm doing remarkably well too. Just last night I actually remembered three dreams and in one I acutally knew I was in the dream for a split second So any way me being new and all I have some questions...

      1. How do you get out of the dream?
      2. Do you actually have complete controll over everything?
      3. Whats this I hear about a dream guide?
      4. How do you acually become Lucid?

On this last question I have done the DREAM JOURNAL and everything and I've only started this a couple days ago but how do you become Lucid?

Well Thnks in advance to the questions and hopefully I'll stay awhile and tell you of all my dream adventures

      Re: New Lucid Dreamer

      Welcome EGNAZIO!!

Three days huh? That's got to be some kind of new record!!
I'll answer what I can, I'm sure others can fill in the rest!

      1. How do you get out of the dream?
I usually wake up (Against my will!! I want it to go on and on...)

      2. Do you actually have complete controll over everything?
Control varies. Sometimes I have no control other times, it is like being god!

      3. Whats this I hear about a dream guide?
Not sure what you mean. Like a spirit guide? Someone to help you?
If so, I;ll leave that one to the experts here.

      4. How do you acually become Lucid?
I become lucid by recognizing dreamsigns in my dreams. Others here use WILD.

      Like I said WELCOME ABOARD!

I look forward to reading your adventures!
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

A dream guide is about the same as a spirit guide(if you believe the dream world is the astral plane,an actualt reality), others might say otherwise. A dream/spirit guide does not know the answers to everything, and will certainly not tell you everything. He/she is there to give you advice when needed, and guide you on your path, its a guide afterall, not an oracle. Everybody has one, just most people dont get to meet one, because they are not ready or open enough yet. Or because they dont want any help,or need..lol

Oh, welcomies to the board btw! ^_^

Well... one of 'em anyway. I've been slacking on greeting newbies, but seems like there are MANY. Seeker answered your questions pretty well, I thought. I have an idea of what a dream guide is, but not sure that there is a standard definition. My understanding is that it is a recurring dream character who offers advice and answers questions while you are lucid... velkommen.

      Howdy howdy howdy =)

With some work you will become lucid, lucidity is basically being aware that you are dreaming, to the point that with the power of will you can do basically anything!

There are varying levels of controll like seeker said for the most part I dont experience the whole god thing.. .=/ I am aware I am dreaming and have limited influence by means of magic and such.

"A knight is sworn to valor.
      His heart knows only virtue.
      His blade defends the helpless.
      His might upholds the weak.
      His word speaks only truth.
      His wrath undoes the wicked."

Impossible is only that which has yet to be imagined
