Thread: First LD!?

When I woke up at around 5AM I didn't remember any dreams but I knew I had one I just couldn't remember what happened in it so I went to the bathroom and came back to bed and laid down for a bit then I started to remember what happened in my dream. I remember sitting down on a log in a forest with 2 other people and I stood up saying "This is a dream, i'm dreaming right now." and I was looking at my hands because everything was all shaky and I knew it was ending and it only lasted like 10 seconds.

so i'm guessing I had my first LD

Yeah, i as well said to myself "I am dreaming right now." and, i was looking for details surrounding me but, it only lasted for a few seconds.

Did things around you get all shaky and blurry?

I don't know exactly but maybe it was a little bit shaky because of the excitement. and maybe a bit blurry too perhaps because i was looking for details and forced myself to look very closely on the surroundings. But, i wouldn't say it was that intense like an earthquake.

My first time "realizing" I was dreaming, I wasn't lucid which was interesting. I was like "I'm dreaming"
I got all excited then was like I don't feel lucid or vivid, then got pissed off and woke up. My first lucid
was when I had a dream that I was at home and I said "Wait, this isn't right, I'm supposed to be at
college" I did a reality check and was like "I am dreaming!" Everything got really vivid but then I didn't
get a chance to do anything and kinda lost a little lucidity. My second lucid lasted like ten seconds. I think
generally the first couple lucids are disappointing.
