      Dreamsign Misunderstanding

      Hi =)

      I have studied lucid dreaming for 5 days or so....every dream i wrote down and for now i had 2 dream signs which appeared 4 out of 5 nights...

      So now im wondering, what must i do with the dream signs.....: must i tell myself to make a reality test if i see one of the signs.. or i have to visit or see those signs in real life and make a reality test then.... or ur suggestions...

      [offtopic] Lovely forum =), it\'s really cosy here

      \"As I alluded to above, reality checks can be performed upon seeing a dream sign, but also should be done routinely throughout the day without a dream sign as a preamble.\"[/b]
      i think that answers the question eh...

      I think doing both of those things, telling yourself to recognize it in a dream and if you see it in real life do a reality check, would work. Good luck If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask people (the DGs are here to help you).

      i didn't make a new topic but it's also linked with dreamsigns...

      How long should I analyse my dreams...i mean in days... is it like 2 weeks or 3 before i can start finding dreamsigns ..?

      I personally favor spontaneous realization whenever I am forced to use these signs. But again, I have been lucid dreaming since I-don't-care-to-recall-how-long, so I suppose it's different.

      I would suggest that you look first for general trends, since specific, personal dream signs are less likely to occur, from my experience. As for how long it will take . . . that will depend on both the strength of the patterns of your dream signs (i.e., how similar they are to one another) and how astute you are at analysing them (during your waking hours, I mean).
      It is important that we do not judge these few unbiased moments of our lives, but take them as they are. There is no nightmare for the lucid dreamer, nor no shadows on the mind.
