Old lucid dreamer returning with vengeance!

Hey I'm a 20 year old male from England, When I was younger, about 13, I had terrible night terrors. I went to see some specialists about it and they had me start out a dream journal, I returned to them a month later with a full notebook of dream details, they were pretty amazed and asked my parents if they could attempt to help me with lucid dreaming. A long story short after a few months I had complete control of dreams, I recall a dream I had often of Orcs from Lord of the Rings attacking me, I froze the entire dream right there, completely wiped the dream and began from scratch. I turned that dream into a Football game and for a bit of fun i was using an Orcs head as a Football Once my night terrors stopped I gave up my dream journal and slowly began to lose control of lucid dreams. It didn't bother me as I was a teenager obviously wanting to fit in, but that changed when I watched Inception last night and got a real hit of inspiration, this morning I got out the old dream journal and filled in the 5 dreams I remember. Today I found this site and learned of reality checks, I then realised I was taught this as a child too, any lamp post I would see I would try to bend even in real life. So hopefully tonight I will have my first lucid dream in a very long time. I have plans to stand on a mountain and control an entire city of lights, dimming and brightening them as I wish, I'l keep you guys informed, if you wish that is
