      Smile heya! not so new

um... hello. i´ve been reading the forum post for about 2-3 years, and i´ve just decided to join.
i have had about 3 real lucid dreams and a bunch of semi-lucids.
have this ever happend to you? lately when im trying to get lucid, i can not. when i´m not trying i get semi-lucid and i just don´t care and i wanna wake up. when i wake up, i get pissed off that i wasted a lucid dream.
anyway, i´m sorry for any mistakes i´ve made. i´m not from an english speakig country.
well, that´s all. please bear with me from now on.

Hi and welcome finally! What took you so long? How hard are you trying when it comes to getting lucid? Which technique are you using? If you have a goal you really want to accomplish, then becoming fully lucid shouldn't be too hard. Although it is for some people, but everyone can do it with enough practice.

      Keep on dreaming!

well, thanks. im not really using any specific technique, im still trying to find one that fits me. one day, im reality checking whenever i get bored, other im writhing down stuff like "i´m lucid" to get it to my head. i was waking up in the night and repeating "this is a dream" and trying not to move (i think its something between mild/wild, dunno), but it only worked once, and it was really tiring. about goals - dont have one. there are too many things i wanna do. i gues here could be the problem.
oh, and ive had a dream journal, too. not using it much now.
is that you on the pic? kinda scary and iteresting

I bet if you give it a week of hard trying, you'll get lucid. Dedication is a very good thing to have when learning how to Lucid Dream. It takes time to learn how to do it, and you need to look forward to them. Try them out and set your mind on a specific goal. Perhaps a long term one would be something like; Visiting the moon, creating your own planet with animals and plants or be in a movie plot. This is good to have something big to strive for, but don't expect to achieve it just now. You have to practice first, and to stay motivated while practicing you have to have fun while doing it! The short term ones could be something like; Flying, telekinesis or having dreamsex. Set your mind on a goal or two, and tell yourself you WILL achieve them!

      Good luck!
