      Ear phones with mantra?

Has anyone tried to record a mantra and have it repeat throughout the night through earphones? Sort of to help you out with a MILD. Possibly, the effect would be the best if you recorded your own voice.

If repeated say every 10 seconds throughout the entire night, and you adjust the volume, is there not a good chance you will hear it? For instance, "You are dreaming".

Or is the risk too big that it will wake you up?

      Anyone tried this?

Actually, that's a pretty good idea. Although I've never tried it before so I don't know how well it would work, but if I get the chance I will try it out to see if it works.

I don't think the idea is to concentrate on what is done to you, but to concentrate on what you are doing.

But as people from time to time use cues, as in flashing lights or similar, why not use sounds with a voice telling you that you are dreaming? Hopefully it won't wake you up in deep sleep, but could wake you in REM (unless you adjust volume to suit perfectly). And instead of having to have something check you REMs, you just have it continuously throughout the night.

In the dream, it could appear as a god like voice from the sky, or from a DC, or just as a thought and hopefully force you to do a RC.

      Anyone else?

I am not sure "god like voice" would wake me up even in a dream, but a "goddess like voice" well, I am sure that can wake me up anytime.

      You lost me at "Hello"...

Sorry, not following what you mean at all in either of your posts. Lost in translation perhaps.

Anyone else tried this or think it is worth experimenting with? I see it as a combination of mantras, repeating cues and reminders that you are dreaming - without too much effort.
