Looking for tips on getting started...

I seem to be at a stand still with LDing. My dream recall is decent enough, but I haven't been lucid in months. I just joined this site and I'm trying to give it another shot now. How hard was it for you adept dreamers to get into the flow of learning to become Lucid? Did it take months, or only a matter of days? Any help would be appreciated.

Time varies for most, It's better to consider how motivated you are and how much you want to LD because motivation and concentration aid becoming lucid, also remember to relax this is meant to be recreational never stress over your dreaming patterns.

How quickly and often you achieve LDs is directly related to how hard you work at it. Just read the tutorials on the site (linked in my sig) and find out which method you want to learn. Then start practicing

Keep up with the DJ too, that will help you greatly towards DILDs.

Thanks. I have been slacking off with my DJs lately. I had my first lucid in a while the other night though. unfortunately, i only became lucid a few seconds before i woke.

I've been at this for about A week, and just last night...
Having a dream about walking though the woods with my mother.
      "Wait a minute..."

      Hey... I'm lucid dreaming...
But I'm a little better ad LDing than most people 6LDs so far.
Really, the more you think about it, and the more RCs you do, the better. If you have 10 free minutes, just do a couple RCs and think about what you want to do in your dreams. The more you think about it, the more It helps you. Optimism never hurt.
