      Dream length

Hey so even though I cant do WILD, yet, I have lots of lucid dreams. Last night I had probably 5, not because I did a reality check, but for some reason when I am walking I realize its a dream. I never get excited, I just relax and I usually spin to change the scenario. Sometimes spinning makes me wake up(IDK why), and sometimes it works. Usually my dreams are about 1minute at the most or I forget its a dream. I was wondering if I can extend this time. Also what are your average lucid dream lengths?

I know you should do RC every now and then even thought you feel that your dream is crystal clear.
Also try rubbing your hands if you feel you're starting to wake up or wander of into non-lucid.

When I notice that I'm about to wake up, I grap hold of something near me in the dream, for example curtains, doorknobs or branches of trees. Then I close my eyes and concentrate on how the thing I'm holding on to feels in my hand.

Of course I cannot promise that this technique works for others, but it usually does for me.

Thanks Krake, i'll try that. Also the RC's do work, I was in about a 5-10 minute dream last night because I kept reminding myself and checking. Thanks

      Use natural REM cycles

I would set an alarm clock for about 1 or 1.5hrs before you normally wake up. Wake up at that time and affirm your desire to have a longer ld. I suspect you will because your REM periods will be much longer at that time in the morning. Good Luck
