Murph, years ago I wanted to increase my ability to recall dreams. After a little research, I bought a book to help me do just that. The book suggested that I place a notebook and pen by my bedside and to tell myself every night before sleeping, that I would recall my dream and actually wake after the dream, to write it down. To make the story short, after a while, I was no longer waking, or even trying to wake after each dream to record it, but rather would get a full nights sleep and in the morning- believe it or not, actually recalled up to six different dreams, which to this day, I still have recorded on paper. It was during these sessions that I experienced Lucid dreaming for the first time- though I didn't know at the time anything about it- nor had ever heard the terms lucid, lucidity, etc. before. However, I still frequent with lucid dreams- but since I no longer care about dream recalling, I lost the ability to recall dreams on a daily basis. A lucid dream- trust me, you won't forget. It's like an actual real-life experience that gets engraved into your memory bank. Good luck with your dream recalling.
