      I joined yesterday!

I joined yesterday and made and replied to a few topics except I forgot to post in the newbie zone! Last year I did a lot of research on lucid dreaming but I was never successful with having a lucid dream after trying many of the tecniques after months of trying so I took a break from trying to lucid dream.. I noticed that I hadn't remembered a dream in like a month! I hate not being able to remember my dreams so I decided I should go into the lucidity thing again since I always remembered my dreams, although they were not lucid, when reading about tecniques before. Last night,I had a dream. I know it but I woke up to people talking and I started listening to what they were saying and I forgot my dream! Hopefully,I'll be more successful at remembering tonight.

That is called a Dry Spell. If you are patient enough, you can get out of the dry spell!

Hey dancing! (Did you know you can have spaces in your name? If you like it that way, to each his own )

Anyway, thanks for joining! I know what it's like waking up to noise and how it just kills recall. The best thing, I think, would just be to keep a dream journal handy and write in it as soon as you wake up so that way the dream is fresh in your head. You may not recall a lot with noise around you, but you should at least be able to get something down.

Dry Spell = a long period of time without a lucid dream
