      Natural Lucid Dreamer?

Hi! This is my first time on this site, and today was the first time I heard about Lucid Dreaming.

I have had about 7-8 lucid dreams previously (in the past 2 months), unknowing of what it was then. I just thought that I was going crazy or that my dreaming was all messed up Is this uncommon? I have told my friends several times that I realized in my dreams that I was in a dream, and I used to do numerous things just to awaken myself, which I didn't feel like I controlled, but last night was crazy!

I had 4 different Lucid dreams (this is the reason why I began my research today), and this scared the hell out of me. In the dreams I saw two different indicators that it wasnt the real world, one was that I poked three teeth out with my tounge. This scared me to the point where I shouted out loud; I'm in a F****NG DREAM! WAKE UP!
Of course I did, I started drifting away from the dream and woke up. I went back to sleep shortly thereafter.
The second, third, and fourth dream were all the same, I heard someone calling a friend of mine asking something about me, and my friend on the other side of the line said ; Yeah, He's right here next to me! (talking about me)
At that point I started thinkin; this shit can't be real. And I reacted the same way as in the first dream and woke up, in all of these dreams. I was kind of scared of going back to sleep the fourth time, so I stayed up for as long as I could since I didn't know what was going on. Is it uncommon to have this many and intense Lucid dreams without even knowing they exist?

I definitely intend to explore this a lot more since I now have gained an understanding for the phenomenon, and I am no longer scared of it. I just want to know if anyone else has had this intense way of finding out? I woke up drenched in sweat, and like I said, scared to fall back asleep

Yes it is normal. There are actually some people who were born able to lucid dream every night. My first lucid dream happened when I was 7 years old and the idea of knowing you're dreaming was completely new to me. I guess you could say my way of finding out about these dreams was also intense. My first lucid dream was triggered by a nightmare. I tried to wake myself up and started to freak out because it was hard to move my arms and legs. Learning about sleep paralysis the hard way makes it a little more intense.
