Hmmmm.. this should be intersting >:)

Hello everyone! Im new to this website (obviously) and just wanted to do my first post. I actually found this website by accident. I heard the world Lucid somewhere and I wanted to know what it meant so I looked it up and i realized that I have actually had two Lucid dreams in the past. I will probably post those up later. Now that I found out about this, i REALLY REALLY want to become a lucid dreamer. Does anyone have any advice for someone training to have a lucid dream?
      Thanks

1.) Start a dream journal and record as many dreams in the most detail as you can every night.
2.) Search ADA or find the ADA tutorial, that is all day awareness it increases dream recall and vividness along with lots of other things.
3.) Read about dream control, if you suddenly just have a lucid dream you should know what to do to maintain it and what to do in scary situations, or situations that you WANT to make more vivid or last longer
4.) If you don't get any lucid after a couple weeks and you've read all about the other stuff try an induction technique like WBTB or CANWILD, these all can be found in the tutorial section under "Wiki" on the top bar where you click forum home etc.

That's just what I'd do everyone has different methods.

Welcome to DreamViews! The ADA tutorial is in my signature if you want to take a look. It is my DILD tutorial.

Reclypso made some great points there. Also, try to keep your confidence up and don't get discouraged by failures. Just look at any failure as experienced gained and look forward to your next opportunity. Try to fall asleep every night expecting to have a lucid dream. The dream journal is a big one. It can help you in nearly all areas of lucid dreaming. Good luck to you and if you ever have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!
