I'm New And Um Hi

Hi I'm new & well excited to be here I guess. I am a little nervous as I always am when I am new anywhere but once I get to know the people & their settings I just kind of settle in. I am a fan of the Monkees song Daydream Believer & that is where my username came from so if any of you also like the song & were curious well there's your answer.
My name is Gail & I have been interested in dreams for about forever. I've always wanted to control my dreams or at least have some amount of control partly because I can feel in my dreams as if I'm awake & I have gone through some terrible pain without waking up. I at least want the ability to avoid ending up in a woman's bathroom with a gun to my head held by some crazy woman that all together scared me too much to write in my dream journal ever again. Or if I end up there again I at least want to do something & not be as weird & clueless as I am in my dreams. I have absolutely no clue what is going through my head at those moments.
One more thing I want to say is I am working on a book about dreams with a group of friends. I'm not aloud to release to much information but I hope that we will finish it by next year. We are also working on other projects so the book might take a while. Yes the book is fiction & so far its coming along nicely although we still need to work out a few things on it. Since I am the one who came up with the idea the person who types feels like she shouldn't throw in any ideas because she is worried that she will ruin it but the point of it being a group project is to have fun & avoid writers block.

to Dreamviews! You should be excited, this is a great place. There's a lot to learn here. I hope you have fun, thats what it's all about. Your book sounds interesting, good luck with that. Make sure to tell us when it's finished!

Thanks for the awesome welcome James! I will let you know when it's finished. For right now I have no clue when that will happen. I have to talk to the group before releasing too much information on it. I can't release a lot but I think I can kind of share what it's about. It is about a girl named Alina who has powers to visit other people's dreams, control her dreams (sort of), see the future in her dreams, & visit a dreamworld where our dreams kind of leak out into & we sometimes accidentally end up in but Alina opened up a back door there & can come & go as she pleases. She also writes in a dream journal every morning that many different people end up discovering of its existence & of the things that Alina can do & some want to use the information in it to help, some want to use it for evil, & others want it to keep it from others using it for evil. Yeah wow I did give out a lot & I'm sure that is all I'm aloud to release about it. I hope that being here will help me to learn more about dreams so the book feels more real.

Well that's something I'd definitely try reading. You didn't reveal too much ;P There's still a lot to fill in, but it looks like I'll have to wait lol. A lot of that kind of stuff is discussed here, so I'm sure this would be a great resource. Have a nice day~
