Well...Yesterday I tried to focus on remembering my dreams...And to my suprise I actually woke up after about 5 hours without an alarm clock... I tried to remember and think about my dreams, but no. I couldnt remember a single thing...I 'punished' myself, just a little zap from a 9V battery and told myself ''Next time you will remember the dream or you'll get another punishment''...Went back to sleep. Woke up after like, 4 hours, no alarm clock...Nothing again...Damnit... |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
I have had times where I felt my sleep was just a total black out...no dreams at all. |

If you're looking for an idea of how to reward yourself, just think of the things you like the most. Which kinds of foods/drinks do you like? Which TV shows or movies? You could even try getting a jar and putting something in it (like a marble) and tell yourself that when you get so many things in it you'll do something really fun. That would also give you a visual reminder, especially if you kept it by your bed. |

I'm not sure what happened this morning... felt like I woke up.. looked at the clock and it was something like 6:00... then I started trying to remember my dreams... then the alarm goes off |

That sounds pretty much like a false awakening to me (you dream that you wake up). A great habit would be to do a reality check whenever you wake up, so that you would also do it when you experience a false awakening. |

Don't think about those damn kangaroos.
that's right, you should get into a habit of doing Reality Checks whenever you wake up in case of False Awakenings. |
