      Question about DJ techniques

Hi guys, my name is Rodney and stumbled across this website after watching Inception and became curious if there was a way to somehow do this myself, and luckily it is possible! I really have no prior knowledge, other than what i have been reading in the tutorials and was wondering how I should go about getting started. I know the first step is creating a dream journal, which I will be doing tonight, but should I just go about this at night by just repeating to myself "I will remember my dreams" and hoping that I wake up and remember my dream and record it, or should I actually try to set up a alarm to wake me at night during REM sleep to increase my chances?
Thanks in advance for the help and I am extremely excited to become good enough to have a LD in the near future!

Hey KDubs, thanks for the reply. Im going to try this out tm morning and hopefully I will be able to remember my dreams. I usually cant remember my dreams when I wake up in the morning, Maybe only 2-3 a week I will wake up and remember I had a dream, not even much detail, but hopefully I will learn to do so with a dream journal and the techniques mentioned on here on how to remember in the morning.

Dedication is key! Every morning, before you even get out of the bed, regardless of what you have planned for the day, take 10 minutes to think about your dreams and write them down! Even if for 10 straight minutes you don't remember the smallest thing write down something-- any reoccuring thoughts or themes you think might have been associated with a dream. Or simpy "I dont quite remember." Also, throughtout the day, try to refresh your memories of the dream/dreams from that morning.

This drills the idea of " I want to remember my dreams!" into the subconscious. It helps a lot. Good luck!
