Red face Saying Hi and my experiences

Hi, so I'm new here. Decided to search "controlling your dreams" on youtube after getting this (i guess you would call it lucid) dream again and video after video i got here.

I have read some of the tutorials and guides before registering and some of them seem familiar with my personal experiences.

So here is what i get:
When i was a kid i remember sometimes getting to realise i'm dreaming but then i would always wake up in a few moments.

Now, time to time, i'm in a dream, i seem to realise i'm dreaming so i somewhy rush to have sex with the nearest female ( sounds perverted huh ) but halfway trough the thing i always wake up. I am also always aware that i am going to wake up soon, that's why i'm rushing.
I've read here that there is no such thing as false lucid but all the rushing to have sex thing makes me think if i'm actually aware i'm dreaming and am i in control because it's the only thing i'm thinking about at the time of realizing i'm dreaming.

The other kind of experiences i get, these are very rare, is these pre-sleep hallucinations or something like that. I am paralized in my bed, i'm not dreaming ( at least at that time i think i'm not ) and something is happening, like i hear sounds, someone whispers, hugs me etc. These kind of things scare the crap out of me. I start trying to move or to scream, few moments later i wake up.

Kind of long post, sorry .
Any thoughts on my experiences would be apreciated. Thanks.

Ok, im not really as good at dreaming as most people on this forum but this can easily be explained. The other night I attempted sex with someone but it was the excitement that wakes you up. If you think the dream will end then that may cause the ending to be nearer. Just ground yourself in the dream by rubbing your hands together and feeling your surroundings.

being paralysed and seeing hallucinations is part of WILD (Wake induced lucid dream) where you go from a waking state straight into a dream, if this happens again just image yourself in your dream scene and you should be carried from waking to dreaming, sleep paralysis is nothing to worry about even though it can be quite scary

That's a problem most people have, try not to rush and have sex, stabilize the dream first but if that's all you're gonna do then the dream will fade anyways if you get carried away. Don't think about how you're sleeping just keep reminding yourself you have control and stabilize occasionally if the dream gets cloudy.

The second thing you mentioned jut sounds like sleep paralysis that you're away of (basically like a WILD) you could use this for your advantage and enter an LD via the sleep paralysis.

thanks for the answers will try that next time if i'll be able to.
The problem is i'm not sure if i'm LDing because the only thought that comes to me is sex . Do you get fully conscious when lucid dreaming? Do you think what to do or do you always go for the first thought in your head?

The paralysis will be really hard to control because as i previously said they're scary as hell. I always think it's ghosts or something because of the feel of being awake.

I know what you mean sex is usually the first thing that comes to mind. You can become more aware by stabilization but you have to remember first thing to stabilize. I usually go for the first thought if I don't stabilize it.

yeah the SP is usually scary, just remember its all in your mind and nothing will hurt you.

Yeah, I was very similar. When I was younger, I had realized I was dreaming on random occasions. It tended to be nightmares, however, and I would shut my eyes tight, and then open them to wake myself up. (One example: I am in my basement a burglar breaks in, I yell, nothing comes out, run up stairs, realize I'm dreaming, wake myself up.) Now I don't seem to have as many nightmares, but my history teacher is also the psychology teacher at school. One time he was talking to a student after class about "lucid dreams". I liked the way that sounded, and Googled it when I got home. I've been hooked ever since. Good luck!
