Hey everyone, I'm Vespy and I'm fairly new to LD'ing. I actually have done it twice before. I need some help REALIZING that I am in a dream and making it more VIVID. I really would like some assisstance in achieving my goal. Much advice is appreciated. Thank you. Farewell.

Hi Vespara! Welcome to Dreamviews! Look here for the different methods of lucid dreaming and how you can do them. Just experiment and find whats best for you. Also have you read the Wiki yet? It's REALLY helpful, full of information, and will get you started on your lucid adventure! How's your dream recall? Do you have a Dream journal? Be confident that you will be able to lucid dream and you will! Just believe in yourself! Hopefully we will see you around in the chat and forums! If you have any questions contact a Dream Guide (Their names are Green) or ask on the forums!

There's a bunch of tutorials on the different techniques for becoming lucid, so check out the wiki section for that. For making the dream more vivid (when I first read it I thought you said VILD and I was about to give you a high five) you can eat a bunch of peanut butter before bed, or some B6 supplements.

me and vespara here are best friends irl, we both just tried the free fall technique and HE DID IT BUT I DIDNT! man, im so upset about this. he woke up and screamed, and it freaked me out since i was controlling his dream from the outside. but still... i just cant get all the way through a free fall!

You really have no idea how lucky you are to have a best friend or even a friend who is interested in lucid dreaming too! I tell my friends about it and they are just like "Oh. Cool" and they drop the subject.

Reality check, reality check, and reality check again. When first starting out, the more anal you are about reality checking, the more likely you will get a lucid dream
