      Greetings to You All!

A two-year veteran of the internet forum OD, I happened to stumble across a thread about dreams several days ago. In one of the first posts, someone linked to a Wikipedia article about lucid dreaming. Feeling mildly curious about the whole business, I read the entire article, then began checking out the links given at the end. The second link directed me to your site, and I must say I was very impressed with what I found. In my scouring of the internet for lucid dreaming techniques and forums, yours was by far the nicest and most comprehensive, and for that I salute you.

Since reading the Wikipedia article, I've done my best to work on my dream recall, but after 3-4 nights I've come up nearly blank. I had an inkling of a memory this morning as I woke up, but it vanished when I tried to remember it like mist in noon sunlight. Hopefully with time and patience I'll improve.

About me: I'm a sixteen year old guy living in south Jersey (not saying where, exactly, this being the internet after all... ). My interests, besides eventually lucid dreaming, include reading, archery, slinging (ask me about that one ), sketching (not very well), and computer games such as Rome: Total War.

I intend to stick around here for a long time, but after the two-week waiting period I'll apply for adoption. Hope I get to know you all in the next few weeks!

As I preview my message, I notice that my sig (designed originally for OD) isn't centering, and the Ahkmet/spoon link isn't showing up black. Can anyone tell me how to remedy this?

      Thanks and happy dreaming!
Which leads to the ultimate question:
What would happen if one were eating hot soup with a potential spoon while sitting on a non-existent fence?

The only way to upload an image onto here as far as I know is to use www.imageshack.us. Try using that & see what happens.
      BTW, welcome!

Oh! South Jersey. I've heard that the South Jersey accent is so much less thick than the North Jersey accent... more from the Heart and less from the nasal cavity, so to speak.

I recently discovered a detail about South Jersey. It seems that one of the most complete publishers of Books from India in the entire world is located in Voorhees New Jersey. The Publishing House is called The India Club.

But I've heard mixed reports about New Jersey. One friend explained that it was surprising that so many people live in New Jersey while there are not barbed wire fences and machine gun towers preventing them from moving somewhere else.

And in its favor, New Jersey is a Blue State.... that is, it voted against George Bush and British American and Zionist World Conquest.

      This is true.

I've unfortunately never heard of them.

You're thinking of North Jersey. We down here disown anything from about Trenton on up to New York. The south is actually quite nice except for when we're assailed by hordes of beach-going shoobies (from Pennsylvania and North Jersey mostly ) in the summer.

And in its favor, New Jersey is a Blue State.... that is, it voted against George Bush and British American and Zionist World Conquest.[/b]
Down here we all voted for Bush. It's just that Newark, Jersey City, and Trenton together all have more population than the entire southern half of the state so the state went for Kerry. Thank God he didn't win.

      Welcome

Other than saying welcome Loagaire, I would like to reiterate your statement.
