Hi all. My name is Bill and I've long had an interest in dreaming and hypnagogic imagery. I think dreams are undervalued, certainly in western culture. Hopefully forums like this will redress the imbalance to some extent. I frequently have precognitive dreams, so I'll probably head off to that area for a look. I've also had the occasional lucid dream and (I suspect) have astrally projected. I'm particularly interested in the development of a dialogue with the unconscious or superconscious mind. I think that hypnagogic visions are very useful in that regard, as they give instant feedback and I hope there are others who will be interested in this kind of exploration.

Hi Bill, first of all, welcome to Dreamviews. I think your right about the "...dreams are undervalued...western culture..." things. But dreaming in the west isn't exactly/completely undervalued, you see, the study of dreams is on the rise in the US especially when it comes to the field of psychology.
