      Need Help?

Whenever I am aware that I am in a LD, it feels like I just need to blink and then I will wake up. So after a few seconds, I blink which means I wake up as you can't not blink.
Does anyone have anything that will help me?
      Thanks

Don't blink. You don't have to blink in a lucid dream. As long as you don't think about blinking you should be alright.

Try focusing on anything else. Blinking severs the connection between the visual world that you brain has created for you and your mind, so it wakes up.

      Hey, welcome to Dreamviews

I kind of have the same problem as you, in the few LDs that I have. I worry that if I close my eyes in the dream, I'll open them in real life. The only thing I could think of doing was what XeL and ninja9578 suggested, just distracting myself with anything else.

Try holding something from the dream world or wear something. The focus on the touch of it might help distract you from blinking. Or try to convince yourself that you already blinked before a second ago and nothing happened.

Or as people said, don't think about it.
