I can't go into sleep paralysis!

The reason i stumbled on to this site is because i was having ""sleeping problems" but i read the tutorials and found out it was sleep paralysis. But here lately i can no seem to get into it..But i kind of been stressed about Summer School to. Do you think this would have something to do with me not being able to go intosleep paralysis.

Well stress is always a factor that will hinder your sleeping and lucid dreaming efforts unfortunately. Your question sort of confuses me a little bit though. Your body automatically goes into sleep paralysis every night we are just unaware of it because we are not really conscious.

I think if you are having trouble sleeping it has alot to to with external factors, like stress, and not sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis occurs naturally, and you cannot induce it (except for when you WILD) so getting into sleep paralysis is really beyond your control. If you are becoming a bit of an insomniac you might want to consult your doctor or try an over the counter sleep aid. Those can really help when you try to go to sleep at night and your mind is wandering because you are so stressed out. But I don't think sleep paralysis is your problem here.

Well if you lay there long enough, completely still...not moving a muscle (like you would do as if you were WILDing) your body will automaticaly go into sleep paralysis. When trying to induce SP, for some it comes quickly but for me it usually takes at least 20 minutes for my body to enter SP.
