Unhappy Hello, i have no idea where to begin...

well i dont know what to put so i guess il put everything. My name is jimmy west im 15, turning 16 in 3 days, im suicidal and depressed, i have only had a lucid dream once in my life and i really want to learn how to do it again.... i know that you can start by having a dream journal and other stuff but really i have no idea what to do. so i guess i could use some tips and i have a few questions...
How long does it take to make this an every day thing for me?
Can my depression make it harder for me to do any of this?
Can listening to music make it easier to achieve Lucid dreaming state?
Thanks for putting up with my newbie post lol

      Hi Johncottoncandy !

Luckily Puffin made this AWESOME Beginner's Guide to Lucid Dreaming just for beginner's like you! It will tell you where to start, and answer some questions .

1.) It really depends on the person. It can take up to a month to a year or two depending on the person. You just need to stay dedicated and confident and you will get there!

2.) Well confidence is a big part when it comes to lucid dreaming. Believe that you can do it, and it will increase your chances greatly. If your depression gets in the way of your confidence, it could affect it.

3.) For some people, yes. For others, no. Just experiment with it and see how it goes

Good luck! Hope you start having a bunch of lucid dreams soon!

Yes do read the guide that Mancon posted it's very helpful, as you can tell by the name, for beginners ^-^
It can take a while for some people to have a lucid dream. It differs greatly from person to person. Just stay persistent.
It also depends if your depression affects this, I have been/are suicidal/depressed and lucid dream, so i guess it depends, confidence is key.
Music can have an affect or no affect at all, maybe if you listen to it while sleeping you could hear it in the dream, or something like that could trigger lucidity.
If you have any more questions feel free to PM me or ask here
