      My Three Dreams

      Saturday, June 11, 2005

I had my first lucid dream tonight. Actually a whole night packed with events. Tonight I went to my girlfriend’s birthday party (which involved a huge arcade, the arcade bathroom, and a subway ride.) I got home around 2 am and went straight to sleep. I woke up about 4 hours later and decided to WILD. Here is what I remember:

      Arcade-

I was in some huge arcade with lights everywhere and velvet carpeting. I saw my friend Liver (a good friend of mine who discusses lucid dreaming with me and shares his stories of it often) and told him “I’m having a lucid dream”. I performed a reality check by breathing through my nose while plugging it. We went straight to the bathroom for some reason and sat down on the toilets. The toilets were so close together and had no cubical walls, it was pretty uncomfortable. This may have been because we joke around about toilets often in person.

      House on Fire-

This was a semi lucid dream. I barely knew that I was dreaming. At the beginning I knew I was because I remember doing a reality check. I walked outside of the main door in my house at night with who seems to be my friend Liver but I’m not sure. I remember saying to him “Wow this is more real than I thought; I can’t believe it’s only a dream”. We walked out onto the street that I live on and automatically I noticed a house on fire in the distance (one which does exist in real life). The setting changed and now we were walking closer to the house itself because I wanted to check it out. I saw a lot of distraught people who were on their cell phones calling for help even though the fire trucks were already there. The next scene was even closer to the fire and I remember the person I was with saying he really didn’t care and we should really get out of here. The next thing I remember is walking down my old street and seeing my old apartment.

      Reversing Subway-
The next dream was a bit strange. I don’t think I was lucid at all. I was on the subway (I have dreams about subways often,) with some girl, she may or may not have been my girlfriend. She had black hair in a sort of dreadlock form and black gothic style clothing. I remember seeing the stations go by but as we got closer to my station they began reversing themselves and it seemed as if we were actually getting farther and farther away. I asked the girl where she needed to get off and it was the same station as mine so I started telling her that the stations are not right and something crazy is happening here but she disregarded my comments and just looked at me strangely.

      Hey there...welcome to the forum!!

      I love your avatar btw.

Anyways, that is really great that you had these dreams. You should start a Dream Journal and use that to document all of your dreams...a journal in real life will help so that you can write your dreams down and remember them as soon as you wake up...but also start a DJ on the forum so that you can put all your dreams there rather than posting them in threads and what not.

If you have any questions feel free to ask me or any other Dream Guide.
