(Being chased by the headless horseman with a sword) oh and Hi I am new here

I had this dream three times when I was younger but on the third dream of being chased.

I stopped and took the sword off the headless horseman while he was riding his horse of course and stabbed him in the guts with his own sword after I did that I woke up.

crapping my pants not for real but being frightened.

what does it mean if you are being chased by the headless horseman more than once and on the third time of dreaming stop running and kill what ever is chasing you.

Hi and welcome to DV! Recurring nightmares are pretty common and why you have them more than once is because you give them the attention they don't deserve. "What if that happens again? I really don't want that to happen" is a sureway to make it infact happen. If you want to conquer your fear, perhaps visualizing talking to the horseman? If you manage to get lucid you can always try summoning him and do it, find out why he's been bothering you. Or defeat him if you like, anyway you will most likely not be troubled by that creature again after that. Your subconscious will make sure of it

If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask!

      Hey and welcome,
As always I believe that things happen in a dream because you think they will, lack of confidence, or other aspects of life that interfere with our fun!
If this isn't a lucid don't worry, before bed when I used to have nightmares I would visualise myself fighting off the bugger!
If it is, it's your dream, so go kick some ass!
