Question lucid dreaming, unachievable for me?

      hey guys,

I found that Forum here just today and so far I really like it. my experiences with lucid dreaming is kind of limited though because I have been trying to have them for about 5 months with more or less afford but I just had one lucid dream in that time.

I tried the WILD technique but at some point I will just loose my consciousness in the dream and will eventually fall asleep. But if I stay too concentrated (like when I count down from 100 with every breath) I don't fall asleep "enough" if you know what I mean.

What could I do to find just the middle?
Thank you for your replies I am really excited to have a lucid dream

      Hey,
WILDs are very difficult, I 'can't' do them, so I think you should consider attempting either DILD/MILD, to at least experience a lucid first.

WILD takes a lot of practice. Make sure you are attempting your WILDs after 4 or 5 hours of sleep when you know you are close to a long period of dreaming. Keep the attitude that even if you fall asleep during your WILD, you still have a good chance of having a lucid dream.

      Hi there,
I think 1 lucid in 5 months is enough say that WILD isn't the one you're looking for my friend. WILDing takes a lot of practice and experience but 1 LD in 5 months, that's kind of off-the chart. I suggest you move on to another method out there that suites you best. Let's say a MILD or a DILD. They're both easy learn and doesn't need stress to successfully do it. If you can't make up your mind on what to choose between the two, I suggest you read Mancon's http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/find-o...2/#post1774609 article. Hope this helps and good luck in the field of lucid dreaming
