      Sup y'all epic dreamers :0

      Hi there, im David.

Im kinda new to lucid dreaming and thought i had to join this forum because of that. When i first heard about lucid dreaming, from a friend that said he dreamed about call of duty zombies but then he was the person in the game. That sounds so fandabbydozy :0

So i was like, i gotta know how to do such things too. I googled and googled, made a dream diary, etc. But nothing seemed to work (yet).

Then i readed something about sleep paralysis. And dang, that sounds so scary.

So then i was like... Should i still continue trying? or will it get so scary?

And then... Then i found this forum. Im willing to find as much information here and ofcourse hang around sometimes =D

Nice to meet you, I guess?

      Welcome to Dreamviews.

You don't have to use sleep paralysis to be able to lucid dream, but there is a technique that you can use that uses sleep paralysis. Sleep Paralysis actually happens every time you sleep, your just unconscious during the time. The technique is called WILD (wake initiated lucid dream), if you want to use it, there are some tutorials on this site you can read. There's also other techniques on this site that you can read to get lucid during a dream.

The most important thing is dream recall and writing down your dreams can help with that.

      Yes we are all epic.

Yes in a lucid dream you can do anything you want with some practice. I had a zombies dream but it was quite a while ago.

So i was like, i gotta know how to do such things too. I googled and googled, made a dream diary, etc. But nothing seemed to work (yet).

Don't worry you can do it!

Then i readed something about sleep paralysis. And dang, that sounds so scary.

I have experienced sleep paralysis a couple of times. It is kind of scary at first, but just remind yourself that it's all in your head and that you cannot be harmed. and you will be all right.

And then... Then i found this forum. Im willing to find as much information here and ofcourse hang around sometimes =D

If you're looking for information, check out the wikis. These are better for getting tips as they are organized better.

Nice to meet you, I guess?

Um yes nice to meet you to.

      Ey there my friend,
Nice to have you in DV. I'm sure you'll have a fun time here in the forums. Anyways, Sleep Paralysis can be quite scary for first timers, but always remember that it's just all in your head and nothing more. They are just hallucinations that can do no harm to you. Also, when you're experiencing one, just put into your mind that an LD is just around the corner. So just remain calm and go with flow if you happen to experience one. If you still haven't decided on what method you'll choose, try reading Mancon's http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/find-o...2/#post1774609 article. And if you just want chill out with the DV folks, go to the forum's official chat room. Wish you luck in the field of lucid dreaming
