Sad question... what is lucid dreaming? Is it when you're dreaming and realize that you're dreaming? I've never actually been able to acheive this, and I find it sad... it all sounds so interesting. I want to learn more about it.

Yea, I suggest reading all the texts from the main site too. Anyway, to answer your "really pathetic question": Yes, you're absolutely right. Whenever you're aware of that you're dreaming, you're having a lucid dream, no matter whether you had any control over your dream or not.

yeah reading everything the site has to offer is a good idea, but my take on lucid dreaming is being able to realize you asleep in bed and then you can control your dream and do whatever you want. I think its the key to true self realization.
